HUGE thanks are going out to a team from King Henry VIII School in Coventry – who spent the Easter bank holiday weekend making hundreds of face visors for our care staff. 

A team of four teachers from the design & technology department have now made around 7,000 visors to support the health and social care sectors amid the Covid-19 crisis.

We/you provide vital frontline services to ‘dependent/vulnerable’ people with learning disabilities.

It is important we continue to work and provide this essential service. By continuing to work you are saving lives. Your work is of national importance to ensure our hospital services are not overrun and beds and health staff are available to treat critical cases. We are as critical as the NHS and provide vital support to the learning disability community. The NHS will stay open and we must too.
