We are working with the Ann Craft Trust (ACT) to review our safeguarding strategies - and are pleased to say that the first stage is now complete.

We would like to thank all those who have participated in the phone calls, interviews and visits. We now have the findings from ACT and will be working together as an organisation on our journey to ensure that safeguarding is at the forefront of all that we do.

Providing a safe service is key for us – we are providing guidance and information to our teams and the people we support to understand the actions they can take to prevent infection and stay safe. We have established a daily review of advice and guidance to remain up-to-date and will share information with all stakeholders as the information changes.

As part of our Community Day Services, we held a special group forum to focus on mental health - starting with a discussion about what we thought mental health was, and how to recognise the signs of both good and poor mental health.

The group talked very openly about their own mental health, including difficulties caused by a feeling of not being accepted at school or in other circumstances.
